Hello and welcome!

My name is Juan and I am a unit stills photographer with bases in Yorkshire / North West.

Recently worked with: Netflix, Sky, BFI & Film4

I first developed a love for photography as a teenager living in the Midlands.  My very first camera was a Nikon F65.
I loved going for walks around the castle grounds, photographing the local two and four-legged creatures that paraded themselves around the many fields, rivers and lakes they called home. Any chance I got I was outside being at one with nature and if not that, then I was having my mind blown away by the beauty of tv and film.  I was that person who would spend hours watching the ‘making-of’ specials over and over again (mostly Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings related).
In my early 20s I shot weddings and portraits part-time but the dream of becoming a full-time photographer were put on hold and for a while I thought it would never return, but then, many years later I started my own business.

I have also been very lucky to be taught by seasoned Stills Photographer Nicola Dove (007: No Time to Die, Murder on the Orient Express) having been a student of her Film Stills Academy course.

I have my own vehicle and full UK driving license.  I can travel anywhere in the UK and am also happy to work internationally.
